Three Wyoming Valley Conference boys were named to the Pennsylvania Track and Field Coaches Association All-State Team.
Wyoming Area javelin thrower Drew Mruk led the way on the team that combines all Class 3A and 2A athletes and ranks them with a single selection for each event on the first team, second team, third team and honorable mention.
Mruk, the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association Class 2A state champion, was a first-team choice on the squad that was generally dominated by Class 3A athletes.
Hazleton Area triple jumper Matthew Cusatis made the second team while Holy Redeemer long jumper Justice Shoats was selected to the third team.
There were no Lackawanna Track Conference athletes or District 2 girls selected to the team.
