District 2 has established the seeds for the girls tennis doubles tournament that is scheduled to begin Thursday at 9 a.m.
Class 2A, which has 34 teams, will play at Kirby Park. Eight teams have been seeded.
Class 3A, which as 21 teams, will play nearby on the Wilkes University courts. Six teams have been seeded.
Each tournament will continue until four semifinalist teams are determined. They are scheduled to return to Kirby Park Friday at 1 p.m. for the semifinals and finals.
As was the case in singles, Abington Heights, Scranton Prep and Wyoming Seminary each had two teams seeded.
