The Holy Redeemer girls basketball team lost consecutive games in the Crusaders Holiday Tournament at Lancaster Catholic to finish last in the four-team field.
Hempfield defeated Holy Redeemer, 50-41, in Tuesday’s first round.
Ephrata then defeated the Lady Royals, 47-36, for third place Wednesday.
Hempfield opened a 22-4 lead after one quarter before Holy Redeemer worked its way back into the game, getting within 25-14 at halftime.
Mia Ashton led the Lady Royals with 13 points and Jillian DelBalso had 10.
Holy Redeemer led 10-7 after one quarter Wednesday, but a big second quarter put Ephrata in front, 30-20, at halftime.
Unbeaten Lancaster Catholic rolled to the title, defeating Ephrata, 66-34, and Hempfield, 66-35.
