HERSHEY – Ciera Toomey came up with a creative way to produce a triple-double in the setting of a Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association state championship game.
Toomey reached double figures in both offensive and defensive rebounds Thursday night.
The 11 offensive boards and 10 more on the defensive end were part of 14-point, 21-rebound, 5-steal, 3-assist, 2-block effort by the University of North Carolina-commit in Dunmore’s 42-30 victory over River Valley for the Class 3A girls basketball title.
