Tim Seriani went 3-for-3 with two triples to lead visiting Hanover Area past Wyoming Area, 12-7, in a Wyoming Valley Conference Division 2 baseball game that was the only event held in District 2 Sunday.
Seriani scored four runs. He joined teammates Brett Martinez, Nick Schiel and Collin Klein in driving in two runs each.
Hanover Area broke a 4-4 tie with seven runs in the top of the sixth.
Jeremy Layland had three hits and two runs scored for Wyoming Area while Casey Noone had two hits and three runs.
Both teams were 1-3 in the division going into the game.
