Two-time defending state champion Lower Dauphin ended Blue Ridge’s season in the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association Class 2A boys volleyball quarterfinals for the second straight year.
Lower Dauphin won the meeting of two of three unbeaten teams in the state tournament field, 25-15, 25-21, 25-21, Saturday at Holy Redeemer High School in Wilkes-Barre.
Connor Cranage had 17 kills for the Lackawanna League and District 2 Class 2A champion Raiders in the loss.
Nick Laude, who had 5 kills, and Carson Gallagher, who had 23 assists, each had 2 blocks.
