Wyoming Seminary solidified its hold on the top spot by remaining unbeaten and unscored upon while Lake-Lehman put together a three-game winning streak during the week to move up in the latest Golden Dome Abstract Super Six Field Hockey Power Rankings of District 2 teams.
The new rankings were released Friday afternoon, prior to the day’s action.
Honesdale also moved up by going 2-1 in one-goal games during the week, winning two straight after falling to Lake-Lehman.
The top three are unchanged with Wyoming Seminary followed by Wyoming Area and Crestwood.
Wyoming Seminary won Wednesday’s 1-vs.-2 showdown of unbeatens, 4-0, over Wyoming Area.
Wyoming Area held on to second because its 3-1 week included a 2-1 win over third-ranked Crestwood.
Crestwood protected third by joining Honesdale as the teams to hand Lackawanna Trail its first two losses.
Those one-goal losses slipped the Lady Lions to sixth, behind Lake-Lehman and Honesdale, which each moved up one position.
