All-District 2 football team

Lakeland and Crestwood each landed two of the major honors Monday when NEPAFootball.com, our partner website, named its All-District 2 football team.

Lakeland’s Dominico Spataro was named Offensive Player of the Year while teammate Lacota Dippre was selected Defensive Player of the Year.

The Chiefs had the district’s only perfect regular season.

Crestwood’s John Jones was named Lineman of the Year and Ryan Arcangeli was named Coach of the Year.

The Comets were the last District 2 team standing, going from a losing record in 2021 to the best season in school history with a trip to the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association Class 5A state semifinals.

The All-District 2 team featured the top players in the district at each position.
