Matt Clarke made the move to the National Collegiate Athletic Association Division I in 2021 as a junior infielder at the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
The Hanover Area graduate headed to the America East Conference school after two seasons at Lackawanna College.
Clarke was successful at the plate in part-time duty, going 9-for-22 (.409) with a homer and 11 RBI in 14 games.
The Retrievers went 12-26 in the America East and 17-26 overall.
Clarke is playing this summer in the Baseball U of Pennsylvania College Summer League.
