Thursday’s National Collegiate Athletic Association Division I basketball schedule included three games involving teams with District 2 graduates on the roster.

Here is a recap of how each did:

BOBBY PLANUTIS, PURDUE FORT WAYNE MEN

Purdue Fort Wayne (15-9 overall, 7-6 Horizon League) won at Oakland (9-15 overall, 7-6 Horizon League), 82-73

Individual statistics

Started, played 31 minutes; 2/5 FG, 2/4 on 3-pointers, 6 points; 4 defensive rebounds; 2 assists; 1 turnover; 1 steal.

Notes

Purdue Fort Wayne’s Jarred Godfrey led all scorers with 32 points, including 5-for-8 from 3-point range and 11-for-13 from the free-throw line. … The Mastodons defense held Oakland to 37.3 percent (25-for-67) shooting from the field and 13.8 percent (4-for-29) from 3-point range.

ETHAN MEUSER, STONEHILL COLLEGE MEN

Stonehill (11-14 overall, 7-3 NEC) defeated visiting Saint Francis (Pa.) (8-14 overall, 5-4 NEC), 74-61

Notes

Stonehill shot 62.1 percent (18-for-29) from the field and 54.5 percent (6-for-11) in the first half to take a 43-34 halftime lead. … The Skyhawks avenged a loss, 73-72, to Saint Francis (Pa.) on December 31st.

Rider (5-16 overall, 2-10 MAAC) lost at Quinnipiac (14-7 overall, 9-3 MAAC), 59-42

Notes

Toomey was hampered by foul trouble as she picked up two fouls in the first quarter. … Quinnipiac got off to a slow start offensively, shooting 1-for-10 from the field in the opening 5:19 of the game. However, the Bobcats defense held Rider to one point over the final 6:17 of the quarter to lead, 14-6. … Quinnipiac won its third straight game over the Broncos and leads the all-time series 19-4.
