Sunday’s National Collegiate Athletic Association Division I basketball schedule saw two District 2 graduates playing.

Mount St. Mary’s (8-16 overall, 4-9 MAAC) won at Quinnipiac (17-7 overall, 8-5 MAAC), 79-75

Individual statistics

Started, played 35 minutes; 2/5 FG, 0/1 on 3-pointers, 2/2 FT, 6 points; 6 offensive, 5 defensive, 11 total rebounds; 5 assists; 2 turnovers; 2 blocks; 1 steal.

Notes

Tinsley grabbed a team-leading 11 rebounds in the win at Quinnipiac. It was the second time this season Tinsley recorded 11 rebounds. … The Mount used a 13-4 run to begin the second half and shot 73.1 percent (19-of-26) from the field to overcome a six-point halftime deficit. … Mount St. Mary’s placed four players in double figures, led by Jalen Benjamin (23 points) and Jedy Cordilla (22 points).  Benjamin and Cordilla are the first pair of Mountaineers to reach 20 points in the same game since Damian Chong Qui and Josh Reaves on Jan. 31. 2021.

Notes

Lavelle’s six rebounds led Drexel. … Keishana Washington scored 40 points and led a fourth-quarter comeback as Drexel picked up a big road win. …Trailing, 49-44, entering the fourth quarter, Washington scored 16 points on 7-for-9 shooting as Drexel outscored Stony Brook, 22-16, to earn a hard-fought  victory.
