Bucknell (10-13 overall, 6-6 Patriot League) defeated visiting Navy (1-22 overall, 1-11 Patriot League), 70-49.

Started, played 31 minutes; 8/11 FG, 1/2 on 3-pointers, 3/3 FT, 20 points; 3 defensive rebounds; 5 assists; 1 turnover; 1 steal.
Notes
Collins led three Bison in double figures as Bucknell led wire-to-wire in the win over Navy. … Collins has scored in double figures in her last 12 games played, and it was her second 20-point outing of the season. … The Midshipmen had a tough shooting night as they were held to 11.1 percent (2-for-18) shooting from the field in the first quarter and 13.3 percent (2-for-15) in the third quarter.

Notes
Buffalo’s Jazmine Young scored her 1,000th career point and tied a UB career-high with 20 points. … The Bulls played Toledo even in the second half but could not overcome being outscored in the second quarter, 19-7. … Buffalo continued to shoot the ball well as it connected on 10 3-pointers for the second straight game. … “I’m proud of the way our team fought tonight.” Burke said in a recap posted on the university’s athletic website. “To beat a team like Toledo you have to be almost perfect. We showed glimpses of what we are capable of and fought until the very end.”

NJIT’s Kevin Osawe recorded his seventh double-double of the season but it wasn’t enough as UMBC came from behind for the win. … NJIT made seven of its first nine shots to help run out to and early 16- point lead and held a 39-28 halftime lead. UMBC outscored the Highlanders, 44-24, in the second half. … After shooting 55.6 percent from the field in the first half, NJIT shot 30 percent in the second half. UMBC shot 53.8 percent in the second half after shooting 37.9 percent from the field in the first half.
