Maddy Gilhool proved to be not just the most frequent scorer for the University of North Carolina-Greensboro women’s soccer team, but also the player to be counted on for the team’s biggest goals.

The senior forward from Montrose made the Southern Conference all-tournament team after her overtime goal allowed UNC-Greensboro to upset top-seeded Chattanooga, 2-1, in the semifinals.

UNC-Greensboro lost to Samford, 3-2, in a shootout in the championship game.
