Nathan Hugaboom is back at Honesdale after making the second team.

GETTING STARTED

Non-league records for division members in December: Delaware Valley 6-0, Wallenpaupack 4-3, North Pocono 4-4, Western Wayne 2-6, Honesdale 1-6.

ANALYZING THE RACE

NEPASportsNation.com editor Tom Robinson breaks down the race as follows:

The records would indicate a clear favorite in this division, but not so fast.

Because of its geography, Delaware Valley has played four New York State teams during its 6-0 start and remains largely a mystery within District 2.

The Warriors will be looking to show whether that perfect December record really means they are better than the last two division champions, Wallenpaupack and North Pocono.

Expect a good, close, three-way race.

Projected order of finish: 1, Delaware Valley; 2, Wallenpaupack; 3, North Pocono; 4, Honesdale; 5, Western Wayne.

LOOKING AHEAD

Delaware Valley hosts defending champion Wallenpaupack Friday night (Jan. 6) and goes to Wallenpaupack Feb. 3.
