Back Mountain teams on the rise

Neighbors Dallas, Tunkhannock and Lake-Lehman are the three teams on the rise in this week’s Electric City Volleyball Academy Elite Eight Power Rankings of District 2 girls teams.

Dallas and Tunkhannock each gained one spot while Lake-Lehman joined the rankings.

Delaware Valley remained in the number-one position, followed by Berwick, Holy Redeemer and Blue Ridge. The teams each went 2-0 during the week and are a combined 13-0 on the season.

Dallas went from sixth to fifth after a five-set victory over Tunkhannock, trading places with Nanticoke in the process.

Tunkhannock moved up a spot despite the loss.

Lake-Lehman started with two wins and took over eighth.

Crestwood lost its first two matches and fell out of8 the rankings.
