When the new season opened Tuesday night, the Warriors, Raiders and Foresters were the winners.
Elk Lake 51, Mountain View 39
Logan Ayotte led defending champion Elk Lake to the home-court win with 20 points.
Carter Bain led Mountain View with 11.
Blue Ridge 81, Lackawanna Trail 36
Carson Gallagher made seven 3-pointers and three teammates were credited with double-doubles as host Blue Ridge routed winless Lackawanna Trail.
Gallagher finished with 23 points.
Connor Cranage scored 16 points, James Barbour had 14 and Dylan Bradley 10. Cranage had 12 rebounds while Barbour and Bradley had 10 each.
Blue Ridge led 29-6 after one quarter.
Forest City 54, Susquehanna 40
D.J. Heath scored 11 of his 13 points while Forest City was taking control of the game in the middle quarters at Susquehanna.
The Sabers led 12-8 after one quarter, but the Foresters moved in front 41-24 heading into the fourth quarter.
Max Urbas led Forest City with 16 points, including 10 in the fourth quarter.
Dylan Bezek added 11.
J.T. Burke led Susquehanna with 18 points.
