Cavaliers reach fourth in rankings

Scranton Prep moved in, taking over the fourth spot in this week’s Riverfront Sports Boys Lacrosse Power Rankings of District 2 teams, which were released Wednesday morning.

The top three spots remained the same with Wyoming Valley Conference leader Crestwood followed by Delaware Valley and Wyoming Seminary.

Crestwood (9-4) lost a non-league game to Southern Columbia, 8-7, but won its two WVC games to remain unbeaten in the conference.

Delaware Valley won twice by a combined 39-5 and Wyoming Seminary won three times by a total of 48-6 to improve the district’s best overall record to 9-2.

Scranton Prep lost a non-league game, but won twice in the WVC to improve to 5-2 in the conference and 7-3 overall.

With the Cavaliers moving up, Lake-Lehman dropped from fourth to fifth and Dallas fell from the rankings when they went a combined 1-5.
