EDITOR’S NOTE: When the rankings were originally posted Tuesday morning, they were determined without knowledge of two previously unreported results: Dallas victories over Crestwood, 83-67, in girls and, 82-68, in boys in key Wyoming Valley Conference Division 1 meets Thursday. The rankings have been revised, going into Tuesday afternoon’s meets, to consider those results.
The Mid Valley boys took over as the new Small School No. 1 team when the latest Riverfront Sports Super Six Track and Field Power Rankings of District 2 teams were determined, going into Tuesday afternoon’s meets.
The Scranton, Wyoming Area and Lakeland boys also moved up this week while the Berwick boys, Susquehanna boys and Mid Valley girls joined the rankings.
The North Pocono boys and Dallas girls continued to lead the Big School rankings while Lake-Lehman held the top spot in Small School girls.
The Small School boys underwent the week’s most significant changes.
Mid Valley remained unbeaten in Lackawanna Track Conference Division 2 while Holy Redeemer fell to Wyoming Area in Wyoming Valley Conference Division 2.
When the Spartans also finished ahead of the Royals in the Walter Godek Invitational at North Pocono, they took over the top spot, dropping Holy Redeemer to second.
Lakeland beat Dunmore on a tiebreaker after they finished with a 75-75 score and the Chiefs used that win to jump from sixth to third.
Dunmore dropped from third to fourth.
Montrose held the fifth spot and Susquehanna, the team that shares the LTC Division 4 lead with the Meteors, moved into sixth.
Riverside fell from the rankings.
North Pocono and Valley View tied for the title in the Godek Invitational and remained 1-2.
Hazleton Area also held on to third.
Scranton and Wyoming Area moved up one position each into fourth and fifth.

The Small School girls had just one change.
Lake-Lehman is followed again, in order, by Lakeland, Montrose, Blue Ridge and Dunmore.
