Holy Cross used a victory over previously unbeaten Delaware Valley to trade places with the Warriors and move into third in this week’s Riverfront Sports Elite Eight Boys Tennis Power Rankings of District 2 teams.
Scranton Prep and Wyoming Area also moved up and Wyoming Seminary moved into the rankings, which were released Sunday.
Abington Heights and Dallas, the last two unbeatens as well as the defending champions of the two leagues and the two district classifications, remained 1-2 in the rankings.
Holy Cross and Delaware Valley are followed by Scranton Prep and unbeaten Wyoming Area, which each moved up one spot.
Valley View slipped from fifth to seventh after losing to Scranton Prep.
Wyoming Seminary won three times and moved into the rankings in eighth, replacing North Pocono, which lost twice.
