D-I BASKETBALL: Rose helps Wofford extend streak to seven

Rachael Rose was the only District 2 graduate active in National Collegiate Athletic Association Division I basketball games on Monday.

Wofford outscored Emory and Henry, 42-24, over the first and third quarters. …This is the first game that Rose has not scored in double figures, but she continues to lead the team in scoring at 17.6 points per game. … Rose led the team in rebounds and shared the assist lead. … After starting the season 0-2, Wofford has won seven consecutive games. The streak is the longest in the team’s NCAA Division I era and the 7-2 start is also the best during that time.
