Dallas knocked rival Lake-Lehman out of the Class 2A playoffs and used that win to replace the Black Knights in this week’s Riverfront Sports Boys Lacrosse Rankings of District 2 teams.
The Mountaineers’ move into the fifth spot is the only change in the weekly rankings that were released Tuesday morning.
Wyoming Valley Conference champion Crestwood remains first, followed by Wyoming Seminary, Delaware Valley and Scranton Prep.
Delaware Valley was eliminated from the District 2-11 Class 3A Subregional playoffs, but winds up being recognized as the District 2 Class 3A champion. The other four teams in the rankings are part of Tuesday’s Class 2A semifinals.
