The Dallas boys, Scranton Prep boys and Wyoming Seminary girls all moved up in the final regular-season set of Riverfront Sports Super Six Swimming Power Rankings of District 2 teams.
The rankings were released Friday morning prior to the two-day district championships.
The Mountaineers and Cavaliers moved up to second and third while Delaware Valley dropped from second to fourth in boys.
Wyoming Seminary traded places with Delaware Valley in girls, taking over third.
The Hazleton Area boys and Scranton Prep girls remained in the top spots.
Hazleton Area is the defending District 2 Class 3A champion and the unbeaten Wyoming Valley Conference champion in boys.
Scranton Prep is the defending District 2 Class 2A champion and the unbeaten Lackawanna League champion in girls.
The Scranton Prep boys defeated Delaware Valley, 93-76, in a first-place showdown in the final meet of the Lackawanna League season to shake up the boys rankings.
Dallas, the defending District 2 Class 2A champion, moved into the second spot.
Abington Heights and Wyoming Seminary remain fifth and sixth.
Scranton Prep also won a meeting of unbeaten girls teams with Delaware Valley, 110-60. That meet also paired defending district champions against each other.
Tunkhannock and Valley View held on to fifth and sixth.
The District 2 Championships are scheduled for Friday and Saturday at Wilkes-Barre Area.
The Class 2A sessions, which are sold out, start at 11 a.m. each day.
Class 3A begins at 5:30 p.m. Friday and 5 p.m. Saturday.
The diving portion of the competition was conducted last week.
