District 2 boys lacrosse pairings

Monday’s girls postponements created two changes in starting times for Tuesday’s opening of the District 2 Class 2A boys lacrosse tournament.

Lake-Lehman and Wyoming Seminary are hosting quarterfinal girls-boys doubleheaders, pushing the starting times of the boys back after the girls games were moved from Monday.

Crestwood has won all four District 2 Class 2A boys lacrosse titles contested since the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association split the sport into two classifications.

Extending that streak will likely require a road win with the Comets seeded behind Wyoming Seminary and the district using home fields of the higher-seeded team for all rounds.

The Comets won in 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2021. Spring sports were canceled in 2020 because of the pandemic.

Delaware Valley shared the Wyoming Valley Conference title with Wyoming Seminary and Crestwood and landed the top seed for the District 2-11 Class 3A Subregional where it will host a semifinal to try to land a spot in the championship game at Lehigh University.
