Plans are set for the 87th annual Scranton Lions Club Dream Game, which will return following a one-year absence caused by the pandemic.
Northeast Rehab and Riverfront Sports will present the game, which is scheduled for July 21 at Valley View’s John Henzes Memorial Stadium in Peckville with a 7 p.m. kickoff.
Included in the plans is Friday morning’s announcement of the rosters.
Lakeland’s David Piwowarczyk will coach the County and Scranton Prep’s Terry Gallagher will coach the City. It will be the first time as head coach in the game for each.
Proceeds of the game annually assist the Lackawanna Blind Association.
