Tommy Pavlowski provided a singles point and Dunmore used a doubles sweep to defeat West Scranton, 3-2, in a Lackawanna League boys tennis match Thursday, the first day of regular-season competition in District 2 during this spring’s sports season.
Jack McNeff-Thomas Bowen and Dominic DeSando-Evan McHale produced the doubles wins.
In the only other event held on the Opening Day, Holy Cross swept Honesdale, 5-0, in another Lackawanna League match.
