Lorenzo Mitchell scored twice from beyond 70 yards Friday night and host Dunmore held off Riverside, 17-14, in a District 2 Class 2A football semifinal.
The Bucks advanced to Thursday’s final at top-seeded and unbeaten Lakeland.
Mitchell broke a 74-yard run with 4:29 left in the second quarter for a 10-7 lead.
Thomas Bowen hit Mitchell with a 75-yard touchdown pass and Dunmore, despite giving up one second-half touchdown, was able to hold off the Vikings.
