John Lesjack limited Susquehanna to two hits over six innings Wednesday to lead Forest City to a 1-0 victory in the District 2 Class A baseball semifinals.
The Foresters scored in the top of the first inning and made that run hold up while Colton Stone was striking out 15 for the Sabers.
Forest City (2-11) broke an eight-game losing streak to advance to Tuesday’s District 2 final against top-seeded MMI Prep (5-14) at a neutral site.
Both Foresters wins have come against Susquehanna, which finished 3-14.
