Nearly half of the District 2 girls basketball teams will open their schedules on Dec. 2, the first legal date for games in the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association.
The schedule for Friday’s Lady Cougar Tip-Off Tournament at Hazleton Area has been moved up one hour since originally announced. Friday’s semifinal games will now be at 5 and 6:30 p.m.
The rest will spread out their openers from Dec. 3 through Dec. 10.
