Jillian DelBalso led a comeback in the final quarter of the final regular-season game to add to Holy Redeemer’s postseason girls basketball schedule.
DelBalso scored 8 of her game-high 18 points in the fourth quarter Wednesday night as Holy Redeemer rallied past visiting Nanticoke, 53-49, to finish tied for first with Lake-Lehman in the Wyoming Valley Conference Division 2 girls basketball standings.
Defending champion Lake-Lehman, which defeated Hanover Area, 60-10, and Holy Redeemer will meet Friday night at Nanticoke at 7 for the division title. Both teams went 11-1 in the division.
Nanticoke gave Holy Redeemer trouble throughout and took a 34-32 lead into the fourth quarter.
The Lady Royals outscored the Trojanettes, 21-15, in the fourth quarter, including 14-8 after Nanticoke maintained its lead until near the midway point in the quarter.
Holy Redeemer also got 11 points from Tessa Cegelka, who had all three of the team’s field goals in the first quarter.
Claire Aufiero led Nanticoke with 15 points. Natalie Atkins added 10 with the help of a pair of 3-pointers in the fourth quarter.

Lake-Lehman 60, Hanover Area 10
Hailey Kline scored 13 points to lead the way for Lake-Lehman.
The Lady Knights led 25-2 after one quarter.
Wyoming Area 50, Wyoming Seminary 35
Morgan Janeski scored 20 points and grabbed 9 rebounds to lead Wyoming Area.
Joelyn Williams added 13 points in the win.
Cassidy Skoranski and Clare Griffin scored 10 points each for Wyoming Seminary.
