Claire Aufiero scored 19 points Friday night to lead the way as Nanticoke downed visiting Wyoming Seminary, 48-35, in a Wyoming Valley Conference Division 2 girls basketball game.
Aufiero had nine points in the second quarter as the Trojanettes outscored the Blue Knights, 16-8, to turn a deficit into a 24-17 halftime lead.
Maddie Olshemski led Wyoming Seminary with 10 points.

Morgan Janeski scored 16 of her 27 points in the first quarter to lead Wyoming Area past visiting MMI Prep.
The Lady Warriors led 25-7 after one quarter, then shut out the Preppers in the second and third quarters. They ran off 35 straight points for a 49-7 lead going into the fourth quarter.
Olivia Rome scored nine points and grabbed eight rebounds.
