Both teams had losing records before starting winning streaks that reached five Oct. 26 with District 2 semifinal victories.
Hazleton Area defeated Wyoming Valley West, 25-16, 25-18, 25-22, in Class 4A.
Mountain View downed Lackawanna Trail, 25-17, 25-19, 26-24, in Class A.
The Lady Cougars and Lady Eagles have each won 15 of 17 sets during their winning streaks while advancing to play in a championship doubleheader Wednesday at North Pocono.
