Hazleton Area won a meeting of unbeaten teams for the second straight day, topping Dallas, 163-168, in a Wyoming Valley Conference Division 1-2 crossover golf match Friday at Valley Country Club.
The victory over the Division 1 leader came just one day after Hazleton Area settled a tie for first place in Division 2 by beating Crestwood, 158-164, at Blue Ridge Trail.
Lake-Lehman preserved the WVC’s other unbeaten record by defeating Holy Redeemer, 147-175, in a Division 3 match.
Division 3 teams do not cross over against the other divisions as part of the WVC schedule.
Wyoming Area defeated Nanticoke, 194-222, in another Division 3 match.
Lackawanna Trail defeated Carbondale, 5-4, to remain unbeaten in Lackawanna League Division 3.
Michael Bluhm and Adam Jones swept the three points in the middle foursome, winning each of their singles points and the better-ball all by 5-and-3 margins.
Brayden Jones won his singles point in the third foursome and Nathan Wescott was involved in splits of both his singles point and better-ball in the first foursome.
In non-league matches, Honesdale shut out Delaware Valley, 9-0, and Wallenpaupack defeated Western Wayne, 7½-1½.
