Hazleton Area boys, Dallas girls win Wyoming Valley Conference

The teams that make up the Riverfront Sports Super Six Swimming Power Rankings of District 2 teams continue to roll along, going 13-0 last week with the exception of two head-to-head meetings, both won by the higher-ranked teams.

As a result, the latest rankings released early Thursday afternoon contain no changes from a week ago.

The Hazleton Area boys, ranked first, and Dallas girls, ranked second, each won twice during the week to secure Wyoming Valley Conference titles.

Lackawanna League titles are up next with the co-leaders meeting Thursday night in both boys and girls when Delaware Valley travels to Scranton Prep.

Scranton Prep has the top-ranked girls team.
