Hazleton Area and North Pocono finished off perfect regular seasons in boys track and field Thursday, wrapping up titles after entering the day already assured of no worse than a tie for first place.
Both teams won on the road.
Hazleton Area downed Wilkes-Barre Area, 89-61, to finish 6-0 in Wyoming Valley Conference Division 1.
North Pocono routed Western Wayne, 122-19, to wind up 4-0 in Lackawanna Track Conference Division 2.
Matthew Cusatis led Hazleton Area, finishing first in the triple jump, long jump and 100-meter dash.
Zack Keiner won the 1600 run and Beck Hutchinson won the 800 run after both were part of the opening win in the 3200 relay.
Patrick Flyte and Collin Kravitz led the way for North Pocono.
Flyte won both hurdles events. Kravitz won the 100 and 200 dashes.
Kenny Noll, Steve Tellez and Kollin Lenshinsky each won an individual event and were part of a relay win.
Noll, who won the 400, and Tellez, who won the 1600, ran the first two legs of the 3200 relay.
Lenshinsky won the triple jump and was part of the 400 relay win.
