Honesdale climbs two spots

Honesdale remained unbeaten, with its biggest win to date, to climb two spots in the latest Golden Dome Abstract Super Six Field Hockey Power Rankings of District 2 teams.

Wyoming Seminary lost twice in the MAXfieldhockey.com National Invitational, but maintained its No. 1 position in the rankings, which were released Wednesday afternoon.

The Blue Knights are followed by District 2’s two unbeatens, Wyoming Area and Honesdale.

Honesdale moved from fifth to third when it beat the former No. 3, Lake-Lehman 3-2.

Lake-Lehman and Crestwood each slipped one spot to fourth and fifth.

Lackawanna Trail extended its winning streak to four games and held on to sixth.

Honesdale’s move in the rankings comes just in time for its Wednesday game at Wyoming Seminary.
