Mountain View prepared for its role as the top seed in the District 2-11 Class A girls basketball Subregional by closing the regular season with a road win over a Class 4A opponent.
Addison Kilmer scored 14 of her 26 points in the fourth quarter Friday night as the Lady Eagles held off Tunkhannock, 40-37, in a non-league game.
The 6-foot-1 freshman was 8-for-8 from the line in the fourth quarter and 11-for-12 in the game.
Kilmer posted her 14th straight double-double while falling just short of a triple-double. She finished with 10 rebounds and 9 blocked shots.
Vanessa Harvey hit a clutch 3-pointer in the fourth quarter and added eight points for Mountain View (16-6).
Lily Sedlak grabbed nine rebounds.
Sable Stephens had 15 points to lead Tunkhannock (7-15).
The game was the last regular-season contest in District 2 basketball this season.
Only the Wyoming Valley Conference Tournament finals, tonight in a doubleheader at Dallas, remain before the start of the District 2 playoffs Tuesday.
