Montrose used a second-place finish in Class A at the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association Championships to climb back into second place in the final Century Dental Associates Cross Country Power Rankings of District 2 teams this season.
Only a tiebreaker prevented the Lady Meteors from leaving Hershey with a state title after originally being told they had won before a scoring error was detected.
Abington Heights, which went unbeaten within District 2, finished as the No. 1 team for both boys and girls.
The state meet results led to minimal movement in the final rankings.
Crestwood finished just in front of Dallas for the second straight week, adding a ninth-place finish in Class A girls, to move past the Wyoming Valley Conference champions, allowing the Lady Comets to remain in the third in the girls rankings.
Dallas dropped from second to fourth.
The only change on the boys side was Elk Lake using a 13th-place state finish in Class A to gain one position into seventh.
