Lake-Lehman gains one position

The Golden Dome Abstract Super Six Field Hockey Power Rankings of District 2 teams largely remained stable.

After no changes the previous week, there is just one change in the rankings that were released Wednesday afternoon.

Lake-Lehman moved from fourth to third, trading places with Crestwood.

Wyoming Seminary and Wyoming Area remained 1-2.

The top-ranked Blue Knights traveled out of state and defeated defending state champions from Missouri and Kentucky.

Wyoming Area went outside the area during a 5-0 week, winning the Selinsgrove Tournament by beating the 18-time defending District 2 Class 2A champion hosts in a shootout.

Lake-Lehman beat one ranked opponent, Lackawanna Trail, in its only game of the week and is set to hit the road to face another, Honesdale, Wednesday.

Crestwood slipped to 2-4 against a brutal early schedule that includes one- and two-goal losses to the top two teams and two losses outside the district.

Unbeaten Honesdale held fifth and Lackawanna Trail remained sixth after outshooting Lake-Lehman in its 3-2 loss.
