Ronnie McManus scored 17 points and Jake Brower led a big fourth quarter for Delaware Valley Thursday night when the host Warriors defeated Wilkes-Barre Area, 54-48, in a District 2-4 Class 6A Subregional boys basketball quarterfinal.
Delaware Valley led 7-6 after one quarter and the teams were tied both at halftime and after three quarters.
Brower scored 9 of his 12 points when the Warriors outscored the Wolfpack 21-15, in the fourth quarter to pull out the win.
Tyee Irving also scored 12 points for Delaware Valley.
Kharee Ascerno led Wilke-Barre Area with 13 points. Waarithi Oseni and Vincent Garrett each scored all 10 of their points in the second half.
Delaware Valley (10-13) is at top-seeded Williamsport, the only District 4 entry in the field, in a Monday night semifinal at 7. Williamsport is 18-4 and received a quarterfinal bye.
Wilkes-Barre Area finished 6-17.
