Caroline Murray got Abington Heights into the lead, then Peyton Houlihan helped keep the Lady Comets there.
Murray scored 19 points and Houlihan added 16 in a tournament Most Valuable Player performance as Abington Heights handled host Riverside, 66-44, Wednesday night to capture the title of the Taylor Lions Tournament.
All-tournament selection Murray scored 11 points in the first quarter when Abington Heights took an 18-9 lead.
The Lady Comets outscored the Lady Vikes in every quarter to gradually expand the lead from there.
Houlihan worked the inside for eight second-quarter points and a 34-22 halftime lead.
Kate Scoblick added nine points in the win.
Lillie Pon scored 12 points and Kiley Williams 11 for Riverside. Both made the all-tournament team.
Whitehall 41, West Scranton 34
Ciara Rogers scored 10 points and all-tournament pick Morgan Dunbar added 8 to lead Whitehall to the win in the Taylor Lions consolation game.
Kydasia Deas scored nine points and Mia Tallo, who made the all-tournament team, added eight for West Scranton.
