Zach Fox ran for 202 yards and his teammates matched that total on the ground Friday night when Nanticoke pounded host Carbondale, 36-0, in the non-league football opener for both teams.

The Trojans dominated up front, opening a 29-0 lead and putting the game into the Mercy Rule early in the fourth quarter when Fox broke a long run for his second touchdown.

Nanticoke has won five of its last six games, dating back to the second half of last season.

The Trojans finished with 404 yards rushing.

The game was delayed about a half hour at the start because of a pregame thunderstorm.
