The pecking order has clearly been established at this point with only the top two positions left open for potential change.
For the third straight time, the Riverfront Sports Girls Lacrosse Power Rankings of District 2 teams remain the same as the previous week, according to the rankings released Thursday morning.
All the teams have completed their seasons except No. 1 Crestwood and No. 2 Lake-Lehman, which play Thursday at 4:30 for the District 2 Class 2A championship.
Crestwood has the top ranking on the strength of its unbeaten Wyoming Valley Conference season and 10-7 victory in an early-season meeting with Lake-Lehman.
Lake-Lehman has the championship game home field based on the district’s best record of 19-1 and the playoff formula rating that goes with it.
Wyoming Area and Wyoming Seminary, which were eliminated in the semifinals, are third and fourth.
Scranton Prep, which had its season end earlier in the district quarterfinals, is still fifth.
