North Pocono will travel to the Catasauqua Middle School Saturday for a 2 p.m. game against Archbishop Wood in the quarterfinals of the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association Class 3A state boys soccer tournament.
Archbishop Wood, the District 12 champion from Warminster in suburban Philadelphia, defeated Fleetwood, 2-0, in the first round.
North Pocono posted its first-ever state boys soccer victory, 4-1, over Danville.
Archbishop Wood is ranked ninth and North Pocono 10th in Class 3A in the final Pennsylvania Soccer Coaches Association top 10 poll of the season.
