The passing combination of Chase Taddonio to Reese Gaughan lifted Riverside to a 41-18, road victory over Mahanoy Area in a Sept. 23 non-league football game.
Gaughan scored 4 touchdowns, 3 of which came on his 9 catches for 259 yards. In addition to his record-setting receiving yardage total, Gaughan also rushed for 89 yards and a score.
Taddonio passed for 296 yards while helping the Vikings improve to 2-3.
The Vikings broke away after leading 20-12 at halftime.
They increased the lead to 27-12 after three quarters, then outscored the Golden Bears, 14-6, in the fourth.
