The final few days of the regular season and the first round of the district playoffs passed without a single upset.
Each of the teams seeded higher by District 2 and listed higher in the Riverfront Sports Super Six Girls Tennis Power Rankings of district teams won when the quarterfinals were contested Thursday and Friday.
As a result, there are no changes in the latest rankings, which were released Monday morning.
Abington Heights and Wyoming Seminary remain as the top-ranked teams.
The other teams that have reached Tuesday’s semifinals – followed later in the day by finals – at Kirby Park are ranked in the top four in each class.
Wallenpaupack, West Scranton and Crestwood are the other contenders in Class 3A where Scranton and Valley View fill out the rankings.
Unbeaten Scranton Prep, Dallas and Wyoming Area are the other remaining teams in Class 2A where Tunkhannock and North Pocono are also ranked.
