Riverside’s football game at Schuylkill Haven has been canceled because of a COVID-19 situation at Riverside.
Schuylkill Haven replaced the Vikings on the schedule and will play Executive Education Friday night.
For Riverside, the week included four schedule scenarios in four days.
Until early Monday, the Vikings were scheduled to meet Montrose, which canceled because of a lack of healthy players.
As of Tuesday, Riverside was set to replace the Meteors with Cowanesque Valley and a Saturday road game.
When Cowanesque Valley instead had to meet a Northern Tier League obligation, Riverside picked up the Schuylkill Haven game on Wednesday.
As it turned out, the Vikings will not play this week and District 2 will be left to determine if the original Monday decision leaves Riverside entitled to a forfeit victory over Montrose.
Riverside is scheduled to be at Lackawanna Trail next week.
