RaeAnna Andreas drained a 23-footer from the right wing with three seconds remaining Thursday night to lift Berwick to a 34-32 victory over host Dallas in a Wyoming Valley Conference Division 2 game.
Dallas held the ball from 1:20 down to 20 seconds on the clock while trailing, 31-30.
Coach Vince Bucciarelli called timeout at that point to set up a play.
Molly Walsh came through, hitting an 18-footer from near the top of the key with 10.5 seconds left for a 32-31 Dallas lead.
Berwick then advanced the ball to the frontcourt in front of its bench where coach Bill Phillips called timeout with 7.4 seconds left.
The Bulldogs then in-bounded the ball and got it to Andreas for a clean look from deep on the right wing. She hit nothing but net for what proved to be the game-winning shot.
Dallas nearly topped that when it pushed the ball up floor to the 3-point arc where the game’s final shot spun out.
Andreas made three 3-pointers while scoring 11 points and Rachel Whitenight added 10 points for Berwick.
The Lady Bulldogs outscored the Lady Mountaineers, 6-2, in the second quarter for a 14-11 halftime lead.
Elizabeth Viglone scored 8 of her game-high 13 points in the third quarter to move Dallas in front, 25-24.
Walsh finished with 11 points, including 5 in the fourth quarter.
