NEPABasketball.com named Rachael Rose from Scranton Prep its repeat District 2 Girls Player of the Year.
Brandon Reed from Riverside was selected Boys Player of the Year.
Rose and Reed were joined by Coach of the Year selections Bill Phillips from the Berwick girls and Tony Battaglia from the Scranton boys in highlighting the all-District 2 teams chosen by our partner website.
The all-District 2 teams culminated a two-week series of all-star teams honoring the best players from the 2021 season. All-star teams were named for each of the 12 divisions – Lackawanna League and Wyoming Valley Conference, boys and girls – prior to the announcing of the all-District 2 teams.
