Meghan Marianelli drove in both runs and Karen Sickle struck out 15 in her shutout Monday as Old Forge defeated Class 6A Palmetto Ridge, 2-0, during its Florida softball trip.
Marianelli had already put the Lady Devils ahead, then hit a solo home run in the sixth inning.
Mid Valley defeated Scranton, 7-1, in another non-league softball game as winning pitcher Maranda Runco went 3-for-4 with a double and four RBI.
Runco struck out 11 while allowing 5 hits and 3 walks.
Kat Davis and Chiara Zavislak scored twice each from the top two spots in the batting order while Courtney Rebar drove in two runs.
Alexa Mulrooney went 2-for-3 and drove in the only Scranton run.

BOYS LACROSSE
Austin Boersma and Gavin Anders scored four goals each to help Abington Heights defeat Wyoming Area, 13-9.
Boersma also had an assist.
Colin Price added a goal and two assists in the win. Wyatt Carper made 10 saves.
Ben Byers, who had two assists, and Joseph Marranca each scored three goals for Wyoming Area.
Jack Herron scored six goals as Wyoming Seminary rolled over Wilkes-Barre Area, 16-1.
Matt Swartz added four goals and three assists, Xavier Beaulac had three goals and two assists, Thomas Iskra had three assists and Richie DeLuna won all six of his faceoffs.
Scranton Prep routed North Pocono, 20-6, as eight players scored multiple goals.
The Cavaliers opened leads of 11-0 after one quarter and 18-0 at halftime.
Liam Barrett led the way with three goals and three assists.
Brady Holmes and Grady Toolan also scored three goals each.
Will McGrath had two goals and four assists.
Max Tierney won 14 of 15 faceoffs.
