Scranton Prep girls move up

Nine District 2 teams – five boys and four girls – remained unbeaten in league meets past the midway point in the season, leaving a non-league meet to create the only movement in the latest Riverfront Sports Super Six Swimming Power Rankings of District 2 teams.

Scranton Prep traded places with Wyoming Seminary, moving up from third to second in the girls rankings, after winning their non-league meet.

The new rankings were posted Wednesday night.

The Delaware Valley boys and Dallas girls continue to lead the rankings.

Delaware Valley is followed by unbeatens Dallas, Wyoming Seminary, Tunkhannock and Abington Heights.

Holy Redeemer remained sixth despite suffering its first Wyoming Valley Conference loss, putting up a battle with Wyoming Seminary before falling, 86-78.

The Dallas, Scranton Prep, Wyoming Seminary and No. 4 Delaware Valley girls teams are all unbeaten in conference meets.

Once-beaten Abington Heights and Berwick held on to fifth and sixth.
